AWSI Advancement Committee

Kevin Wade - Chair


The overall goal of the Advancement Committee is to raise funds to support AWSI's advancement. Through building mutually beneficial partnerships with like minded individuals, we can obtain resources to foster industry awareness and growth. We will focus on the following areas in order to achieve this goal: 

  • Leveraging industry relationships to offer a unique value proposition to corporate sponsors
  • Applying for Government grants focused on recreation and clean energy
  • Soliciting adjacent businesses for charitable donations
  • Fundraising through online campaigns and local events
  • Member donations

AWSI Membership Committee

Vadim Polonsky - Chair

The Membership Committee is responsible for shaping AWSI’s membership strategy as we implement our new association portal.

  • Expanding membership beyond industry professionals to welcome non-industry watersports enthusiasts and consumers.
  • Strengthening and growing industry memberships by presenting new benefits offered through the portal and AWSI’s new mission.
  • Establishing clear benefit structures for each membership type and tier.
  • Guiding communication, onboarding, and user experience within the new portal.
  • Supporting retention through consistent engagement and clear value delivery.

AWSI Outreach Committee

Sensi Graves - Chair

The mission of the outreach committee is to amplify awareness of AWSI and its mission while fostering strategic partnerships that resonate with our objectives. Our mandate involves advocating the advantages of potential collaborations with AWSI and potential partners and presenting these to the AWSI BOD for their consideration.

  • Creating new media partnerships for the AWSI tradeshow.
  • Fostering partnerships with GKA/GWA and Outdoor Industry Association
